It’s that time of year again. What a great sight it is to see the sun glistening on your crystal clear blue water.  There’s lots to prepare as the swimming season approaches.  Sometimes, opening your inground pool is not the easiest task.  Removing and folding the safety cover so it can be stored properly for the summer is important to avoid kinks or tears and to ensure no algae grows.  The right amount of chemicals and cleaning will prevent algae growth and better stabilize your pool so its ready when you want to swim.  All parts and accessories should be inspected for wear and tear and proper functionality including filters, pumps, heating systems, salt water and traditional chlorination systems, lighting, ladders, and slides.  Keeping up with proper maintenance will ensure a safe and fun family summer.
